Mixson Home Inspections, LLC was formed by Mike Mixson of Birmingham, Alabama. Mike is originally from south Alabama and, even as a child, he had a natural curiosity of how things worked. To his parents surprise, he was often found taking things apart to discover their inner workings. What made this kid different was his ability to put things back together in working order. All great home inspectors carry with them this curiosity and an ongoing desire to learn.

At Mixson Home Inspections, it is important to us that we competently determine the operating condition of a property and provide a personal, easy to understand explanation of the systems and components that comprise what is likely to be the largest purchase of a client’s lifetime. We feel it important to share with clients the insights and experiences that have been gained by an inspector with over 20 years of home renovation and insurance industry experience. Our desire is to make the seemingly complex simple and provide clients with the information required to make an informed decision. To ensure the quality of our inspections,we employ the latest technologies including some of the highest quality infrared devices available from the same company the US military relies upon.
